Anyone who is involved in color management for digitally printed textiles, knows it's a bottomless pit of exploration and knowledge. Just as you think you've reached the bottom you realize you have a new question causing you to research further & deeper.
For the core of our users, we've implemented the simplest possible color matching workflow that delivers great results.
Click here to open the color catalog in your browser, then right-click and download it to your computer.
Order the printed catalog on your choice of fabrics, here.
After you've received the printed color catalog, open the digital catalog in your favorite graphics software and use your color picker tool on the color block that represents the printed color of your choice. As a result of our workflow consistency, if you use the RGB color values identified by the color picker, you'll receive a printed product with your selected color*.
This catalog contains almost 1,500 colors from the range of millions of colors that can be printed. By adjusting the RGB values of the color selected you'll easily be able to adjust the color, darker, lighter, more or less saturated, or in any way you desire.
If you're familiar with ICC, Lab, RGB, DeltaE, fabric profiling, etc. and would like more details on how you can color match the products you order from FabricSmiths, please send us an email with your questions.
* the same color values on the same fabric may print differently. This difference is not normally visible but may be measureable.
* the same color values on different fabrics are likely to print differently. The difference may be more or less apparent depending on the fabrics being compared.
New Product & Shipping Prices
As a result of our switch to a new manufacturing partner, we'll be updating our price list in the coming weeks. This will affect newly & previously created products. We'll also introduce new shipping options and rates, many of which will reduce the cost of our most commonly ordered products. We'll let you know when these changes have been implemented.
